National Medicare Fully Funded Fitness Benefit Program
The Northeast Community Center is a full service facility offering a wide variety of affordable health, fitness, recreational and educational programming for people from ages 6 months to 99 years. Whether it is in our Arthritis Foundation “certified indoor pool” or the newly renovated and enlarged “state of the art” fitness center, people are encouraged to learn and grow while building a strong mind and body. We gladly participates with many health insurance carriers that offer rebates for membership, as well as subsidy relief agencies for preschool, afterschool and summer camp programs.

Our Mission Statement
The organization is a “not-for-profit” Pennsylvania Corporation with 501 (c) 3 status. It’s mission is dedicated to enriching the lives of the people in Northeast Philadelphia without regard to race, gender, cultural or religious orientation and mental or physical abilities. The area has many private “for profit” fitness centers that are cost prohibitive to the average family, adults and seniors.

Location      
Conveniently located at 2840 Holme Avenue in Philadelphia (directly across from Nazareth Hospital) just east of Roosevelt Boulevard, it is easily accessible by car and public transportation. The SEPTA Route 20 bus stops directly outside our front door.

The Northeast Community Center is open on the following days and times:
 Monday-Friday 6 a.m. - 10 p.m.   
       Saturday and Sunday 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.

  *The pool closes 30 minutes before the building,                
*The fitness center closes 15 minutes before the building.
